As I am a resident of downtown Coventry in West Midlands, I was searching for a car driving school in my vicinity. I am a fitness instructor by profession, and recently purchased a Vauxhall Astra Sports Tourer. But I was not all confident behind the wheels. I had the chance of having a hand or two in my friends Peugeot 5008 SUV quite sometimes. Yet, this was not enough to think I had mastered the skills of driving. Therefore, I had to opt for a driving lesson in Coventry with a reputed driving school. The experience was somewhat enriching.
To be very candid, I wanted to start as a novice. I called up the Coventry driving school board and informed about my specific course requirement. They assured me that a customized package would best serve my purpose. An appointment was fixed, and I visited their school at 53 Parkgate Road in Coventry. Though they have branches in Nuneaton and Warwick too, I wanted a center near my home. I was pleasantly surprised to see their modern infrastructure and their collection of cars of almost all brands. Since I had bought a Vauxhall station wagon, I preferred a car of the same make. I made myself comfortable in their front office, and a friendly customer relationship manager took over. She explained everything that was on offer.
Driving Made Easy by Professionals
Though the driving lessons were broken up into various sessions and parts, there were different packages. Without much ado, I readily opted for their ‘Premium Plan’, which consisted of 20 Lessons and 2 FREE lessons. There are various other automatic driving lessons Coventry, but the one I opted for with a FREE theory CD/DVD, is extensive in nature. The entire course fee was 500 pounds, and it was well worth it. The course materials, practical driving sessions with the car and Grade “A” friendly instructors, made for a great learning experience. I spent only 40 odd hours, and successfully cleared the driving test with ‘good’ overall percentage. In the course or driving lesson, I learnt many new things about traffic rules, signals, signs, braking, accelerating, fuel efficiency, wet street driving, use of indicators, steering handling and lots more. The friendly instructors laid special emphasis on safe driving without speeding. It required a lot of metal balance and quick decision making. Even emphasis was laid on the right pair of shoes to wear while driving. All-in-all it was a wonderful learning experience.
Today, I am a UK driver’s license holder and would highly recommend my friends to go for one such driving lesson in Coventry. It is a must for all novices and beginners who want to hit the roads in their car or SUV.
